Bum Rush The Stage: Access to Student Space

There is an inadequate amount of space for students to organize and study. This also means a lack of functional performance and practice spaces for the arts. I will advocate on behalf students to create affordable venues. In addition, I will work to harness and amplify student voice in the redevelopment of Lower Sproul to guarantee that space is designed with student needs in mind.

It’s Bigger Than Hip Hop: Giving resources and respect to our stories, the arts, and humanities

The humanities generally do not receive the resources or focus that they deserve as vital disciplines on our campus. The arts are not only a deserving field of academic study, but also a valid form of knowledge production. I will work to institutionalize support by creating spaces for the discussion and theorizing of art, as well as assist student groups in establishing decals and field study courses centered on the practice of art.

Squashing The Beef: Uniting our communities

It is often the case that communities are unaware of each others issues, struggles, and core values. I will work to create mutual understanding and support between various student groups and communities with similar visions. I hope to facilitate more collaborative work on this campus through my support and sponsorship of art programming such as showcases and festivals.
