Platform

Student Health: Top Priority

I will make sure that the ASUC uses its power to advocate for one of the most essential aspects of our lives by strengthening communication and collaboration with University Health Services, using the ASUC as a venue to implement health related programming, and creating an advisory board that will be comprised of health-related student groups to guide the ASUC into making informed decisions on health.

Transparency In UCB Administration

The University often makes important decisions that affect our lives without any student input whatsoever. As Senator, I will increase awareness inthe student body of ways to get involved in the decision-making process, as well as invite current administrators to dialogue with students about transparency and inclusion in the decision-making process.

An ASUC For Every Student

The ASUC needs to increase its willingness to advocate on behalf of underrepresented student communities. As Senator, I will continue the fight for a multicultural center, create an ASUC-sponsored women’s forum for different women’s groups to come together, and increase publicity and outreach efforts to students from marginalized communities.
