Platform
More Resources For Fall Extension & Spring Admits
As Senator, I will increase available resources for spring admits and fall extension students by advocating for:
- More beginning Language courses available during Spring and Languages courses available in Fall Extension
- More housing options/offers given to fall extension students
- Lower fees for extension students (fall extension pays $2000-$3000 more)
Connect And Unify The Theme House Programs
Theme Houses are separated from one another. As a Senator, I will work to promote more diversity among various ethnic groups by advocating for:
- Mixers to create a closer community of students
- Frequent communication among theme houses, which is more cost-effective and meaningful for coalition building than retreats
Reduce The Cost For Student Performance Facilities
Campus performance facilities are too expensive for many student groups to afford. As an ASUC Senator, I will:
- Work with Cal Performances and the University to reduce the cost of facilities including Zellerbach Hall, Wheeler Auditorium, and the Greek Theater so that they are more affordable for student groups.
- Secure adequate funding from the ASUC for culture shows.
