Ending The Partisan Divide

Bitter partisanship in the senate has wasted our time, money and resources. We need a leader who is committed to bringing students together from all backgrounds to utilize the ASUC as an effective organization. As EVP, I will prioritize student groups in the budgeting process. I will push for transparency by including more student-at-large representatives on ASUC Advocacy Committees.

Prioritizing Student Space

In the past year, the ASUC has made tremendous progress on the Lower Sproul Redevelopment Project. To ensure that the University builds a comprehensive and permanent center that is inclusive to students, as EVP I will continue to advocate for the improvement and expansion of rehearsal spaces, study lounges, and meeting rooms for all students.

Strength Through Student Groups

The ASUC exists to be a resource to the hundreds of student groups at Cal. As EVP, I will engage student leaders in cross-organizational dialogue through the creation of an ASUC Student Leadership Conference that will highlight the importance of coalition building, sustainable organizing and resource utilization. I will develop a true community space for student organizations to network and maximize resources.
