Creating A More Inclusive Environment For Students

As an RA, I have seen the experience of new students who have difficulty adjusting. I will increase resources and ensure sustainability of the Recruitment and Retention Centers, and other such groups that work actively to smooth the transition from home to campus, and organize and facilitate inclusion trainings and student forums for student organizations.

Increasing Service Opportunities

As an Alternative Breaks participant, I have seen students turned away from certain opportunities due to limited resources and funding for existing programs. I will increase student opportunities for service trips within (and outside) the United States and emphasize the importance of service to student organizations and ASUC Officials

Maintaining Public University Integrity

I believe the increase of corporate influence on our university challenges our integrity as an impartial academic environment. We need a thriving campus, without compromising our reputation. I will fight to prioritize socially responsible, local businesses in commercial ASUC revenue and actively participate in the redevelopment of Lower Sproul to defend these businesses, especially in the upcoming redevelopment of Lower Sproul.
